The Twiddlemuff Project
A Twiddlemuff is a double thickness hand muff with bits and bobs attached inside and out. It is designed to provide a stimulation activity for restless hands for patients suffering from dementia.
The wonderful ladies of the Sandford-on-Thames Women's Institute are committed to knitting as many of these wonderful muffs as physically possible, so that they can be donated to local Oxford organisations and bring cheer and comfort to patients suffering from dementia and other illnesses related to "restless hands".
